§ 01  —  STATEMENT

Twenty-six years,

1999 — PRESENT
READING NOTE Four turning points, listed chronologically. Each made the next position possible.
1999 — START

Entered the industry as an IT webmaster. At PTeK Korea, a global messaging company, and the R&D Lab of Shinan IT, I learned how systems and user interfaces operate together. This was the foundation of a director who speaks both code and design fluently — orchestrating, not executing.

2012 — FOUNDED

Founded Lee & Company. Using infographics as the core language, I have led digital brand projects across all industries — from public agencies (National Tax Service, Ministry of Education, MOSF, MOEL) to enterprises (Binggrae, Pulmuone, AmorePacific, Samsung SDS, KDB Life).

2017 — NATIONAL

Won the design direction contract for Korea's 19th Presidential Election. A national-scale project of USD 750K+ delivered within 2 months. The ‘Beautiful Election’ identity was the outcome, and has since become the standard visual asset of the National Election Commission of Korea.

2023 — LUXURY

Leading CHANEL's global meetings and North Asia branding. It is uncommon for the world's most conservative luxury maison to entrust headquarters design and event operations to an external director. The 4-year ongoing engagement may be the most accurate letter of recommendation.

From strategy to design, development, content, and operations — a single director takes responsibility end to end. That is the fastest, the most consistent, and the safest.

‘Beautiful Election’
Korea's 19th Presidential Election

Within 2 months, won and delivered a USD 750K+ scale design contract for the Presidential Election. Developed the core ‘Beautiful Election’ identity and produced nationwide and overseas voting posters, printed materials, installations, and related events — a large national project.

ImpactThe ‘Beautiful Election’ identity, distributed nationwide and to overseas voting, became the standard visual asset of Korea's National Election Commission. A rare track record of winning and delivering a USD 750K+ national project within 2 months as a solo director.

SEENEWS — News to see, not to read. An infographic-based media service self-planned and launched. REIN — A subscription-based infographic-resume system applying visual infographics to individual value. A self-funded pivoting attempt.

ImpactBeyond client work, directly planned, invested in, and launched two in-house services. A signal of a director with the eyes of a business owner — not merely an outsourced creative.

§ 04  —  DOCTRINE

Why this
practice exists.

06 PRINCIPLES

Six things refined consistently over 26 years — the decisive difference from other directors.

D—01

Strategy and execution are not separated.

Strategy consulting is never handed off to outsourced design. A single director takes responsibility for strategy, design, development, and operations on one line — making decision speed and execution consistency fundamentally different.

D—02

Public sector and luxury — simultaneously.

The National Election Commission of Korea and CHANEL — two opposite extremes with the most conservative standards, both passed through. A rare track record. No client tone is ever a context I haven't handled before.

D—03

Short timelines and large scale are not feared.

Won and delivered Korea's 19th Presidential Election design contract within 2 months. Consistently led projects where the deadline is the national event itself.

D—04

A director fluent in
both design and code.

Career began in 1999 as an IT webmaster and senior R&D researcher. Direct understanding of how code and systems operate makes me a loss-free translator between planning, design, and engineering — orchestrating teams and external specialists on a single line.

D—05

Translating the abstract into the visual.

Particulate matter, democracy, education policy — the hardest and most abstract messages, rendered into the most intuitive visual language: infographics, character IPs, media façades.

D—06

Someone who finishes things to the end.

Persistence to not give up on the toughest problems and worst situations. The reason clients feel most secure — the director runs to the finish line with them.
